Observational / Animal studies

Animal studies on paper, graphite.  I tried to catch their movement, paying attention to the overall movement and of how their bodies work, like the wolf's paws for example. Bears bones structure and proportions, and how different are grizzly bear skulls compared to a panda.

Character Design

Observational / Human figure studies

Traditional media; Characters & Concept Art

I was inspired by Albert Camus' book "Le myth de Sisysphe". He inferred that the irrationality, the human nostalgia and the absurd are the 3 characters of the drama that would finish all logic in the human existence. I represented them as some inner demons / ghosts. Graphite, micron pens, ball point pen and black markers on sketchbook moleskin. "Every horror is an illusion in our minds", trying to represent it by looking into the mirror, I could imagine another dimension and maybe another self. I got inspiration from the ukiyo-e painting's folklore monsters. Faber Castell colors, white charcoal, graphite, Micron pens and paper stump for shadings on grey paper sketchbook. Concept Art

  From Concept Art to Final results.  In order to finish the vocational Degree in Game & Level Design, I was on a 4 months internship for Ooblada, a mobile video game studio based in Paris.   I was in charge of the characters / backgrounds for the new worlds at the Football Touch 2014 game. Working closely with the Game Designer and the Art Director, I did preliminary sketches with my ideas / propositions and once they were approved, I moved onto doing them in the game' style which was Pixel Art.   New characters and Zombie world unlocked / locked in the map From sketches to real assets in-game From sketch propositions to the new worlds in the map
